News - New Web-based Management Console for Ellis Building Contractors Builders

Ellis Building Contractors of Eastbourne have recently gone live with their latest business development, the web-based Ellis Management Console. Designed to consolidate business data and improve and streamline procedures the new Ellis Management Console proved to be a big hit with the Ellis team.

Before this latest addition, supplier and customer contact information was fragmented on individual systems throughout the business and job information and management reporting information was kept on countless spreadsheets and had to be manually populated by staff. This was proving inefficient and time consuming, in fact some management reports could take nearly a week to compile. Derek Godfrey Managing Director of Ellis Building decided enough was enough; he approached Lottbridge Systems with the view to streamlining his whole operation. Derek wanted a system he and his staff could use to run their organisation and it had to be web-based so that staff that were on the road, at home or on-site could access it.

The team at Lottbridge Systems had many discussions with key members of the Ellis team to ascertain which processes and management reports would have the biggest impact in terms of cost/time savings if they were improved and developed for the new Management Console. Once the priorities were decided development started. The Management Console is still having new elements developed now as further business processes are drawn in.

Mike McLean - Operations Director had this to say about Lottbridge Systems "The Directors have made sure that they fully understand the processes and needs of our business which has enabled them to write bespoke software to significantly increase the functionality of our IT systems.

We don't consider Lottbridge Systems to be contractors or specialists, we genuinely feel they are part of our Company."
