The advent of 2009 saw the launch of the newly revamped windowwise.co.uk. Redesigned to come across as modern and dynamic the redesign also had to maintain the look and feel of the Window Wise brand. New content features latest in energy efficiency technology, EcoClear Glass.

Tim Briggs Managing Director of Window Wise wanted the website to reflect the modern looking marketing campaigns currently being produced. He also wanted the inclusion of Flash movie media to make the website grab visitor’s attention. There was also a need to include the latest energy efficiency developments such as the ‘A’ rated energy standard achieved with some of the new products, of which was EcoClear glass.

Lottbridge Systems went about creating some design mock-up’s for Window Wise that incorporated the company’s colour scheme and the well know Owl logo. Once a design had been decided on the mock-up was cut-up and coded into a template webpage. At every stage the code was optimised for Search Engines to easily read and reference.

A news section and meet the team was created with a database backend and management console so that content could be managed by Window Wise themselves. These pages were again coded to let Search Engines see exactly what information was being displayed.

On the front page a Flash movie was created to rotate various images and show customer comments. And on the EcoClear page another Flash movie presents information regarding the new energy efficient glass.

The project has been a great success and Window Wise now have 55 plus pages listed in Google as opposed to 5 previously.
