To modernise and improve the existing website. Website should be able to receive lot information from existing Auction Management software BidMaster and post into a database and show on the web. Users should be able to register on the website and place commission bids against lots. The website should be secure and able to take and process credit/debit card details.
A Management Console is required to manage day-to-day running of the auction. Staff should be able to create new auctions, manage lots, categories etc. There should also be a Counter Sales facility to enable user information to be updated and card payments and preauthorisations to be taken.
In-order to increase the existing customer base and make auctions more accessible a Live Online Auction facility is required to allow users to view the auction as it happens. Users will be able to view lots and bids as they happen and hear live audio of the Auctioneer, they will also be able to participate and place live bids for items.

Lottbridge Systems created a new brand look for Eastbourne Auction Rooms and redesigned the existing website to incorporate it. A Management Console was developed in tandem with the public facing website to incorporate the functionality specified in the brief. Staff could now manage key processes required for running an Auction House. Customers could view the hundreds of lots for each sale along with large images of items and place commission bids if they wanted to. The website was secure and could process card payments and preauths.
This latest addition is the facility for users to engage in live auctions online through the website. If users are registered they can open a live auction page and see the auction as it happens... they can even here the Auctioneer going through the lots from the live streaming audio and place bids for |
