To install a small network allowing company employees to access a pool of information. And also allow the Directors and salesman to work away from the office.

A small network was installed connecting all the machines. Broadband was being used, so a proxy server was set-up enabling everyone on the network to gain access to the Internet.
High spec widescreen laptops were supplied and set for the network allowing the Salesmen and Directors to work away from the office. To meet their printing requirements a good quality colour laser printer was supplied and installed.
Specialist window processing software was installed along with a new piece of software (Syncro Manager) developed by Lottbridge Systems. This allowed for jobs and quotes to be processed either in the office or away from it and for jobs to be sent electronically to their supplier.
IT Support has been agreed and Horsham Glass & Glazing pay for support hours up-front (10 hours at a time). This allows them to get access to IT support from IT Professionals, for all their staff about any IT issue. This service also allows them to receive advice on any future plans they have where IT systems could play a part or could be affected.
